What better time of the year than the start to commit to resolutions? One of the top ones is to lose weight or get fit. This got me thinking how, at CL&D Digital, we enjoyed significant growth in 2010 despite the tough economy. We attribute this greatly to efficient operations. In order to grow our business this year, we need to continue to “be fit” and stay lean. Ultimately our company’s well being translates into a competitive advantage for you, as we continue to deliver packaging solutions not only with great speed, but at a fair price.
But being fit doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a daily commitment: Customer service maintaining a strong customer relationship focus, sales nurturing new opportunities—and production ensuring quality, speed, and delivery. It also takes the internal, system-by-system implementation of lean manufacturing processes, which are evaluated continuously during training events. (Our first event focused on quoting and order entry processing, which led to reduced order lead times, for example.)
At CL&D, our “loss” is our customers’ gain. We look forward to delivering authentic, production-run quality packaging—at a sometimes unbelievable speed—to customers old and new in 2011!
